Nostalgia over holiday sparkle

Snow has been a constant companion in Calgary as of late. After shovelling it again and again today, I gave up and headed for the indoor comfort and some homemade chicken noodle soup.

The holidays are sadly done. My nostalgia inspired me to wear some sparkle in a kid-like effort to recreate at least a bit of their joy and magic. That and I was long looking for an excuse to wear a beaded skirt again :)  You’ll recognize the sweater from the previous look – sweaters are my “comfort clothes” and I always look for ways of adding them to any outfit – dressy or not.

Thank you for reading !
