Line Games – an easy manicure idea
Winter is back! After a brief reprieve of no jacket days, the snow is back in the picture. And with snow comes the great Canadian workout – shovelling snow out of our driveway. Once the shovelling was done, I decided to cuddle up with our new pup Leo and treat myself to a graphic manicure. Sure, my hands will be covered in mittens while outside, or will they
?
Tools: two favourite nail polishes, scissors, tape, top coat, imagination
Step 1. Pick your favourite colours. I chose a dark brown and a light girlie pink to balance it off.
Step 2. Apply your base colour. Let dry.
Step 3. Cut out thin strips of your preferred tape.
Step 4. Apply your tape cut outs to nails in desired pattern. Make sure you have some tape “hanging” off your nails for easy removal later.
Step 5. Apply your second coat of nail polish over your taped nails. Wait until nails are almost dry and in a swift waxing motion remove the tape. If you wait until your colour is fully dry, you may take some of the nail polish meant for top coat as the tape is removed.
Step 6. Clean any mistakes with a Q-tip or a toothpick dipped in the nail remover.
Step 7. Cover your artwork with a layer of top coat.
I hope that you enjoy this nail art idea. I find it to be quite fun on those days when I want a reason to stay in just a little longer. What are some of your favourite manicures?

Such a great mani tip. Thanks for posting.
